When students come to my classroom, they will have opportunities to learn through a variety of ways. Games allow students to have fun and love learning at the same time. Some examples include board games that work on phonics skills and counting; card games to help with number recognition, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing; using fly swatters to work on word recognition by "slapping" the correct word; and using flashlights to read in the dark for a more fun way to practice fluency.
